Emergency department scribe work at the UF Health Medical Plaza, Springhill, and Tower Hill locations in many different specialties including infectious disease, pulmonology, family medicine, hepatology, endocrinology, etc. This is a 49% per-diem position which may eventually convert to career. The responsibilities of the hospital scribe include collaborating with physicians, performing clerical. You will also be required to aid in “chart auditing” both in real-time and retrospectively, which includes reviewing physicians’ charts and procedure notes to ensure completeness, sending incomplete charts back to physicians and maintaining/updating a work queue log utilized by our coders.
